Shelley Winters (Shirley SchriftAugust 18, 1920 – January 14, 2006) was an American movie actress who appeared in many blockbuster movies much as Place in the Sun, The Big Knife, Lolita, The Night disparage the Hunter, Alfie, and The Poseidon Adventure. Her career spanned over 50 years until her death in 2006. Winters won Academy Awards for tea break acting in The Diary of Anne Frank and A Patch of Blue.
